The Company Settings page lets you manage company-wide policies that apply to all non-admin users on your company's LeanLinking account.
The page is split into two sections - One for settings that relate to your Supplier portfolio and your users' editing privileges, and one for Compliance-related settings. Below you will find explanations of these settings.
Supplier Settings
Show own uploaded Supplier names
In case the External Partner (supplier) is Linked with you, they might have a different registered company name than what you know them by. Check this box if you wish to display the company name you have registered.
Auto generate company numbers
If this box is checked, the system will automatically generate a company number if the company number field is left empty when creating a new External Partner (supplier). The company number can always be changed at a later point.
Allow users to make themselves Owner on an external partner page
If this box is checked regular users can assign themselves as Owner on a supplier/external partner page. If this box is not ticked only Admin Users can assign ownership.
Allow users to select themselves as Owner on a partner page when creating an external partner
If this box is checked regular users can set themselves as Owner on a supplier/external partner during the creation of the supplier. If the box is not checked ownership can only be changed after creation.
Allow Owners to edit external partner data on external partner overview and masterdata overview pages
Checking this box allows the supplier Owner to edit master data on external partners/suppliers on the Supplier Overview and Supplier Master Data Overview. If this box is not checked only Admin Users can edit information on suppliers.
Allow users to switch owners
If this box is checked a regular user who is an Owner on a supplier/external partner can assign other users as Owners on that supplier. If this box is not checked only Admin Users can assign ownership.
Allow users to create suppliers
When enabled normal users will be able to add suppliers to the system. If unchecked, only Admin Users can do this.
Allow Gatekeepers to edit Supplier master data
With this box checked, Gatekeepers will be able to edit supplier master data.
Compliance Settings
Self Assessment Requester should always receive e-mail when status is changed
With this box checked, the user who requested a supplier to fulfill a self-assessment registration will receive e-mail notifications (regardless of notification settings) when the approval status of that compliance registration is changed.
Disable Excel export functionality for normal and light users
When enabled only Admin Users will have access to the Excel Export button on the Compliance Overview.
