You can change or add new categories to choose from when registering a Non-conformance report. That is done from this page in the Admin module.

LeanLinking has suggested some common default reasons. These can be deactivated if they are not relevant to you.

You can customise and add NCR Reasons as you see fit.


How do I add new NCR categories/reasons?

  1. Go the the NCR Reasons page in the Admin module.
  2. Scroll down to the Company Reasons section.
  3. Click the Add a reason button.
  4. Enter a fitting title/description for the new entry.
  5. Click the Save button


How do I deactivate, or rename an existing NCR category/reason?

  1. Go the the NCR Reasons page in the Admin module.
  2. Find the Reason you want to change. Note that the default reasons can not be renamed, only deactivated.
  3. Enter a new title to rename the entry, or select Inactive from the drop-down menu to disable that option when registering new NCRs. Keep in mind that if you change the name of the reason, this will also affect any previously registered NCRs that used that reason. Disabling a reason will remove it from the list of possibilities when registering a new NCR, but old NCRs will remain available.
