On this page you can define the factors you want to measure your suppliers' performance on, and whether or not they should be visible to your suppliers (if your suppliers are linked on LeanLinking).

You can also change which landing page you want when you enter the KPI module from the Supplier overview.

It is also from this page that you delete already uploaded KPI data if you need to do so. Be aware that this data is not recoverable from LeanLinking once it has been deleted!

The raw data for your KPIs will usually come from a source external to LeanLinking, such as your ERP system or database system.

Examples of various widely used KPIs could be:

  • Spend
  • OTIF % (On Time In Full)
  • PPM (Parts Per Million Defects)
  • Inventory
  • Sales Index

To change the KPI landing page do the following:

  1. Go to the Admin page -> KPI Definition.
  2. Choose your preferred KPI landing page from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click the Save button.

To set the KPI definitions do the following:

  1. Go to the Admin page -> KPI Definition.
  2. Enter your KPI title and description.
  3. Define your the amount of decimals to visualise in the data.
  4. Set the Visibility - Should it be available to internal stakeholders, or shared with suppliers?
  5. Define if a lower score is better, or if higher is better.
  6. Set the type. Either a number, or a percentage.
  7. Enter your Sublevel definition. If you want to load KPI data deeper than the total value for a period, you load it as Sublevel data. As an example this could be Products.
  8. Click the Save button.

Note: The KPIs are defined by their number value to the left (1, 2, 3, etc...) so if you want to change the setup, the order or similar with data already uploaded, you will in most cases have to delete the data and start over.

To delete previously uploaded KPI data do the following:

  • Go to the Admin page -> KPI Definition.
  • Navigate to the KPI that you wish to delete the data for.
  • Click the corresponding Delete Uploaded Data button.
  • Confirm your choice in the pop-up window.
